NEW Interactive Digital Library
I want to encourage every family to check out our new interactive Digital Library located on our school's website under the academics tab. The Digital Library is loaded with student resource apps spanning all subject matter. There's also parent, teacher and book list resources as well.
On the home page of the Digital Library, you will find our new subscription to GALE Kids InfoBits! This is an online research reference database (think online encyclopedia that's vetted, current and user friendly) that can be accessed at school and at home. Features include: citation, highlight and notation tools, lexile level options, visual and audio assistance, 20+ language translation and a multitude of books, articles, images, journals, maps, charts and graphs. Students can save research in their google drive folders. Parents can access a tutorial in the MORE/Educator Resources tab.

Read-A-Thon Fundraiser Kick Off is Thursday March 2nd
One of our most important fundraisers of the year combines your child’s love of reading with raising money for our school. We will kick it off by celebrating Read Across America Day and Dr. Seuss’s birthday with a pajama day/reading event in all classrooms. This is an exciting fundraiser for our students and the more they read, the more money we raise. All the money earned will go directly to critical programs, services and materials for our students. Prizes and additional details will be announced soon.
