Mrs. Schaupeter Writes and Illustrates a Children’s Book

I’m very proud to announce that our second grade teacher, Sarah Schaupeter, and her husband, Brad Schuapeter, have published their first children’s book titled, Little Rat. “Little Rat tells of the adventures of a little pet rat while her human friend attempts to put into words why the little rat does the silly things she does.”

 Little Rat is available for purchase on Amazon for $9.79.


Earl Warren Fair Tickets for Sale

Our front office is selling pre-sale Unlimited Ride tickets to the fair for $22 each. You save $5 when you purchase your fair ticket through the school. The fair runs April 26th-30th. The last day to purchase your pre-sale tickets is April 21st.


SBUSD Night of Stars Honors Balta and Ms. Price

Balta Esqueda, Head Custodian, and Mallory Price, Kindergarten Teacher, will be receiving the SBUSD Star Employee Award on Thursday, April 13th during the SBUSD Night of Stars event at the SB Zoo. Thank you, Balta and Mallory, for your leadership not only at Adams but also throughout the district!


Pizza Mizza Restaurant Night

Join us at Pizza Mizza for a fundraiser benefiting Adams Elementary on Thursday, April 13th. Pizza Mizza will donate 15% of anything you purchase directly back to the Adams when you present the attached flyer with your purchase. This fundraiser is all day; however, Adams families are encouraged to dine together at Pizza Mizza between 5:30pm-8pm. We hope to see you there!


Arbor Day/Earth Day Celebration

Our annual Arbor Day/Earth Day celebration will take place on Wednesday, April 19th at 9:00am in the Adams Auditorium. Our TK/Kindergarten students will kick off the event in song and close the event by planting a tree on campus.


 Musical Theatre Performance

Our afterschool Musical Theatre class will be performing Space Pirates on Wednesday, April 19th at 5:30pm in the Adams Auditorium. The performance is FREE and open to the community. Much gratitude goes to our Music teacher, Mr. Larson, for teaching and supporting our students.


Summer Swim Camp Scholarships

The Santa Barbara Police Activities League (PAL) will be supporting all of our families that qualify for free or reduced lunch with Summer Swim Camp Scholarships and Registration on Sunday, May 7th, 9AM-1PM at 1235 Chapala St. (please see attached flier). Please take advantage of this fabulous opportunity for your child!! The camps are first come, first serve. We are extremely grateful to the Audacious Foundation for making the attached camps available for our families for only $25 a week.
