Space Pirates the Musical

The Adams Elementary School Tiger Theatre presents “Space Pirates”, a new children's musical about appreciating what you have, on Wednesday, April 19th at 5:30pm in the Adams Auditorium. 

The musical is FREE to the public.

 

Earl Warren Fair Tickets for Sale

Our front office is selling pre-sale Unlimited Ride tickets to the fair for $22 each. You save $5 when you purchase your fair ticket through the school. The fair runs April 26th-30th. The last day to purchase your pre-sale tickets is April 21st.

 

Tiger Time Breakfast

Join your child for breakfast next Tuesday, April 18th in the Adams Cafeteria for our next Tiger Time Breakfast event. While your child enjoys their free breakfast from the cafeteria, adults will be served coffee, bread and fruit provided by the PTA. The event begins at 7:30am and is a wonderful way to start your day and enjoy being part of the Adams community. We hope to see you there!

 

Arbor Day/Earth Day Celebration

Our annual Arbor Day/Earth Day celebration will take place on Wednesday, April 19th at 9:00am in the Adams Auditorium. Our TK/Kindergarten students will kick off the event in song and close the event by planting a tree on campus.

 

Summer Swim Camp Scholarships

The Santa Barbara Police Activities League (PAL) will be supporting all of our families that qualify for free or reduced lunch with Summer Swim Camp Scholarships and Registration on Sunday, May 7th, 9AM-1PM at 1235 Chapala St. (please see attached flier). Please take advantage of this fabulous opportunity for your child!! The camps are first come, first serve. We are extremely grateful to the Audacious Foundation for making the attached camps available for our families for only $25 a week.

 

2017 Hope Awards

The Santa Barbara Education Foundation will be honoring, Ed Heron, former SBUSD Board Member at the 2017 Hope Awards on Thursday, April 20th from 5:30-8:00pm at the Santa Barbara Historical Museum. Tickets are $150 a person and can be purchased here. Believing that he could make a difference to the quality of education for all children in the district, Ed ran for the SBUSD Board of Education in 2008. During his tenure on the school board, he worked to eliminate the achievement gap by elevating the quality of education for all students with fiscally sustainable long-range planning, improved teaching technologies, and building partnerships between schools, local businesses, and the community” (SBEF).
