FREE Family Museum Passes
The Audacious Foundation has arranged for free family passes to the Natural History Museum/ Sea Center, Botanic Garden, and Maritime Museum to be used by our students and families over the summer. Every student went home with a family pass today so please be sure to ask your son/daughter about the pass. A BIG Thank you to the Audacious Foundation for their support!
6th Grade Promotion
All of our sixth grade students will take part in promotion ceremony on Wednesday, June 7th at 6:00pm in the auditorium. Please limit the number of family members attending to immediate family only as space is limited.
Reading and Math Awards Assembly
The Audacious Foundation is sponsoring a Zodo’s Bowling trip this Thursday and Friday for all of our 3-6th grade students who have consistently reached their reading goals every month.
I will be recognizing 1-6th students for growing two years or more as well as reading over 1 million words or more on Monday June 5th at 10:30am in the auditorium.
100-Mile Running Club Awards
Mrs. Churchman will be recognizing students who have reach 25-50-75 and 100-mile marks on Monday, June 5th at 1:15pm at an all school assembly. Please remind your son/daughter to wear his/her blue running shirt to the assembly!
All of our Kindergarten students will take part in promotion ceremony on the last day of school on June 8th at 9:00am in the auditorium. Parents please remember to sign-out your child with the front office if you plan on taking him/her home immediately following the ceremony.
Medication at School
Please pick-up your child’s Prescription Medication by Wednesday June 7th in the Health Office.
All medication not picked up will be discarded.
6th Grade Students vs. the Adams Staff

TONIGHT! 2nd Annual Maker Faire
PLEASE JOIN US at Adams TONIGHT, from 5:30pm-7:30pm, for our 2nd annual Maker Faire! Our Design Center Teacher, Sean Federbusch, and team are bringing together over 25 interactive, inspiring, and FUN maker booths to demonstrate project-based learning. Mr. Federbusch will also be showcasing many AMAZING student projects that were created throughout the year in our Design Center. EVERYONE is encouraged to stop by, grab dinner (cafeteria will be open until 6:30pm), and immerse you in all things S.T.E.A.M., as this year promises to be larger than life!
Congratulations to the following students, who competed in the Santa Barbara County Math Superbowl on Wednesday, May 31st. They have logged in many hours afterschool in preparation for this competition. I am very proud of their efforts and how they represented Adams School! 6th Grade: Charlie Weddle, Citlalli Ocampo, Dash Roshell and Gavin Tallman. 5th Grade: Steven Bradley, Jack Holdren, Amanda Holguin and Sallie Olbrish. 4th Grade: Grady Wilson, Taylor Steelman, Maria Aguilera and Miles Dentinger.
Adams Library and Summer Reading
Our Adams Library will be OPEN throughout the summer every Wednesday and Friday evening from 4-6pm for students to check out books and to take an AR quiz. Please take advantage of this opportunity!
