YOUR CHILD'S TEACHER
If you have a question related to your child or their learning, contact their classroom teacher directly via email or phone.

YOUR SCHOOL'S PRINCIPAL
At step 2, your first point of contact will be your Assistant Principal, if your school has one. They may then advise you to talk to your child's school counselor or the school Principal.

RELEVANT DISTRICT ADMINISTRATOR
Assistant Superintendents oversee school sites. Keep record of all staff you have spoken with and when. Email info@sbunified.org or locate the appropriate district contact.

SUPERINTENDENT
The Superintendent supervises all SBUSD staff. Only after previous steps should you contact the Superintendent. They may hold a phone conversation or meeting with all involved parties.

BOARD OF EDUCATION
The Board provides leadership and oversight. You may contact members by email or speak during public comment at a Board Meeting.
