NO PARKING EARL WARREN ALL MONTH

No parking at Earl Warren for the next 4 weeks from April 15 - May 7 due to the upcoming County Fair. Please show caution when parking in the neighborhood. Look for signage. You will be ticketed by the police if you do not follow posted regulations. We thank Earl Warren Showgrounds who graciously allow us to use the parking lot of the Showgrounds on days without events or event preparation. We appreciate your respect of this agreement. Sorry for the inconvenience.

THEATER PRODUCTION

Please come and join us next Friday, April 19 at 6:30 p.m. for our production of "Imagine a Dragon" in the Adams Cafeteria. "The dragon is back in town! Well… not really. That’s the story a ragtag band of innkeepers makes up, desperate to draw questing heroes to the struggling Dancing Dragon Inn. Soon the inn is full of unexpected guests, from an army of princesses out to prove their bravery, to a group of overwhelmed heroes trying to hold onto their fame. But what happens if they all discover the innkeepers’ dragon story is made up? Could there be more than one way to save the day?" Come bring the whole family and find out what happens! Admission is FREE!

TOMORROW IS FRESCH COFFEE

Please join us on Friday, April 12, for the quarterly Principal’s Fresch coffee, hosted by the PTA, immediately following Friday Flag.  I will be sharing information about budget projections for the 24-25 school year, testing, enrollment, and negotiation updates.

TOMORROW IS WALK AND ROLL TO SCHOOL DAY

Tomorrow is Walk and Roll to School Day. Walk, roll, ride the bus, or carpool to school for exercise and to benefit the environment. All students will be served breakfast BEFORE school instead of during morning recess as we partnered with Food Services to provide smoothies on this fun morning.  We’ll also have fun prizes for all who participate. *Breakfast will be served before school on Friday.

JEANETTE PERDOMO, HEALTH ASSISTANT

Hello! My name is Jeanette Perdomo. I’m so excited to be joining the Adams team as the new health assistant. I’m born and raised in Santa Barbara. I’m married to my wonderful husband, Edgar, and we have 2 children (Matthew, 9 and Olivia, 7) (family pictured above) and our family loves to spend our free time; either having movie nights at home or exploring different cities in our beautiful state of California and also outside California. We also love exploring the many tide pools that California provides and marvel over the many sea creatures that we find on our adventures. We love to travel and we are also a Disney family, we love going to Disneyland. I have a degree in Arts with an Emphasis in Biomedical Sciences. In the past I have always been a medical assistant in doctor offices and then took some time off to be with my children. Then decided to go back in the workforce and work as a data entry for an appliance company. This is my first time working in a school setting and I’m excited to be here. Don’t be shy and come say hi to me in my office. I’m here for you all and anything you need. I’m very excited to be among the amazing staff, students and parents at Adams. Thank you for having me.

PARKING LOT SAFETY

Just a reminder, that students should never be dropped off in front of the school office, regardless of what time it is. No matter what time, you risk blocking the entrance to the parking lot at the change of the light. Cars need to always be moving to the farthest available spot to drop off, either in from of the cafe or in front of kindergarten building. Students should not exit their cars unless they are in this lot position or a staff or parent volunteer is opening the door and giving you permission. At no time should parents park in front of the school office

CALM CORNER

As we are in our last months of school, I wanted to take this opportunity to share and remind our students and families of community based resources available. Any questions about how to connect to these resources please feel free to contact me. Phone: 805-563-2515 ext. 1040
