CALM CORNER
Happy New Year!!
I hope everyone had a wonderful and relaxing break with their loved ones. Throughout the break, I was able to take the time and practice mindfulness activities that allowed me to be more present. Sometimes we feel like it can be difficult for our students to practice mindfulness activities, but any activity that slows down their mind and body and allows them to enjoy and accept the present moment is a practice in mindfulness. Mindfulness is shown to reduce anxiety and improve wellbeing at all stages of life, so I encourage you to apply this in your day to day! Let's start this year with being mindful and intentional with what we do!
