Students, what is your spark?  Do you dance? Do you sing? Do you play an instrument? Do you know how to hula hoop or do magic tricks? If so, then you need to be in our talent show!   Please look for permission forms in your Thursday folder this week. Tryouts will be after school on Monday January 9th from 2:00-4:00 pm in our Cafeteria.  This allows for kinder and TK to try out first, then 1-3 starting at 2:36 followed by 4-6 at 3:03. Parents must provide transportation if needed to stay later than bus routes are available. All students need to be prepared and ready with age-appropriate music on an iPad if needed for your act.  KARAOKE music (without lyrics) is required for any singing acts. All members of the group acts will need to be present to try out.  Please note a few rules: All performances are limited to 2 minutes. Talent Show will cost $3.00 per adult (students are free) at the door on the night of February 22nd at 6:30 PM.  Come show us what you got Tigers!

This year our Winter Concerts will be in person!  The students have been working hard to present to you wonderful performances.

New Year's is the perfect time to talk to your children about realistic goal-setting. Learning to work towards sustainable, positive changes is an essential life skill that benefits people of all ages, from preschoolers to adults. Unfortunately, many New Year's resolutions are abandoned before the month of January is over. That's usually because the initial groundwork of establishing support and accountability hasn't been put in place. Below are a few suggestions to help kids set New Year's Resolutions, by creating  a resolution together you can provide guidance and support along the way. Additionally, check out the articles below for more helpful tips.

  1. Take the task seriously. You could even create a family goal.

  2. Consider alternatives to traditional resolutions.

  3. Help your child identify realistic and healthy goals.

  4. Identify small, actionable steps.

  5. Make it a learning experience
