Adams PTA
WHAT IS THE PTA?
The Adams PTA is an organization consisting of parents, teachers, families of the school and administrators. Our main purpose is to help create a positive and productive school community for teachers, parents, and children. All are welcome to join the PTA, annual memberships are $10 per person. Everyone is encouraged to participate in PTA meetings and volunteer.
WHEN DOES THE PTA MEET?
We welcome everyone to our Tiger Parent general PTA meetings. Meetings are the 3rd Wednesday of every other month (September, November, January, March, May). 6:30-7:45PM in person or on Google Hangout with bidirectional interpretation.
I DON'T HAVE A LOT OF TIME TO COMMIT TO ORGANIZE AN EVENT. CAN I STILL COME TO MEETINGS?
YES!!! The meetings are a great way to know what is going on at our school. Additionally we are always looking for volunteers throughout the year via Parentsquare. We encourage all adult family members to do what you can, when you can. It takes a village and every little bit helps!
WHERE DOES THE MONEY RAISED GO?
All students at Adams benefit directly from the money raised through our fundraisers. The Adams PTA provides parent educational events, offers social and enrichment opportunities for families and students, as well as funds supplemental learning materials and resources in the classroom that are not provided by the district.
To become involved or if you have any questions, please contact any of the PTA Board members.
FUN FACT: Did you know that we work with our teachers to make sure they can fund classroom supplies and annual field trips? We provide an annual classroom stipend of $600 for each and every teacher at Adams. When you support the PTA and Adams, you are contributing to the well-being of each child. Thank you!
