6th Grade Bike Club
All students at Adams are taught how to ride a bike and basic bicycle and traffic safety during their Physical Education classes. Sixth graders can join the Adams Bike Club and become more confident riding on the streets of Santa Barbara. Each week students will review street skills and then take rides off campus in the neighborhoods around school. Ride confidently to Stevens Park, the Santa Barbara Mission, La Cumbre Junior High and Hendry's Beach. The 6-week class will culminate with a long ride to Goleta Beach and back if the students are comfortable and confident on their bikes. Students provide their OWN helmet and WATER BOTTLE each week. Students may used their own geared bike or borrow a Tiger bike each week.
